The 58th Toronto Scout Group has been offering Scouting programs since 1920 (see our History), and now that Scouting is co-ed, for girls as well as boys! Organized as the 58th Boy Scout Troop in the Spring of 1920, we are one of the oldest continuously operating Scout Groups in the world.

We presently offer programs for Beavers, ages 5-7, and for Cubs, ages 8-10. Starting in the Fall of 2011, we will be once again be offering programs for Scouts, ages 11-14.

Our goal is to offer fun with a purpose, and that purpose is to instill confidence, leadership, and responsibility in our youth members. We use crafts, games, badge work, skill training, camps, outings, teamwork, and other activities to reach our goals.

Our mission is simple: We train people to be responsible, capable leaders.
